New Jersey’s own Cleo lands himself on the map by opening for artists like The Chainsmokers and Dave East with his unique sound. For his latest release, ‘Space Crips’ he develops a spacey downtempo, trappy vibe. The raw deep, dark and dynamic beat is built perfectly for a proper underground party.

With ‘Space Crips’ I def wanted it to be really out there and weird but still have that trap-feel with heavy bass. -Cleo

‘Space Crips’ kicks off Cleo‘s voyage of an EP titled, Szn7teen.

The EP is built of 5 songs that all have a life of their own, the only aspect that ties these tracks together are their trap music roots. You can feel the sounds Cleo create are spurring from true emotion, the reverb running through his veins and the inspiration he finds from an expansive taste of music.

Following ‘Space Crips’ is a cut dubbed, ‘A Mi Rasta’, that takes us on a journey through the void- propelled with deep Rastafarian vocals.

As the track develops a beat created of liquid droplet sounds and deep bass, find yourself transcended into a new atmosphere. Next on Szn7teen is his most popular release yet, ‘Pulse‘. For this cut, Cleo layers in future trap elements over a thumping bassline that will captivate your body and mind.

After, ‘You Take’ picks up the tempo with a driving bassline that is mixed with a future funk groove that is built of ancient sounds. To end the EP, ‘Motives’ emerges next with vibrant psychedelic guitar riffs and mystical piano progressions that evoke a vibe that you could imagine feeling if you landed on a new planet.
